Suspension Thoughts
In case you can't read the fuzzy print from this sign on the Brooklyn Bridge:
"The reason people are unhappy is because they see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be.

White on White
Visited the Dia Beacon. Loved the space. Had issue with this artist. Not to be too judgmental, but really?

Warm Weather Booties
It doesn't need to be cold for dog owners in the NY to accessorize their pets. This photo taken by the dog park at Madison Square Park.
You might remember cold weather, bootie wearing dog from several years ago.

And So It Begins
The Atlantic-Pacific Stop is now:
Hey, maybe that's why Geithner didn't press the company about their inappropriate transactions?

Vat O Mango
I knew the chances of Blue 9 Burger using fresh mango for their sauce was slim, but I never imaged it would come in a barrel.

Hanging at the Guggenheim
The artist Maurizio Cattelan had a retrospective at the Guggenheim this winter. In the spirit of his unconventional work, he decided to join all previous pieces as one massive installation which hung from the ceiling of the museum.

My pictures truly don't do justice to this fascinating work. Here's a video from the Guggenheim's website which shows how the piece was hung.

La MaMa Block Party
Super late, but I wanted to post this video from the La MaMa Block Party which took place in October. The event not only celebrated the 50th Anniversary of this venerable downtown theater, but it also honored founding Artistic Director Ellen Stewart who recently passed away. Performers were seen on the streets surrounding the theater's E 4th St home.
